Peace in the World
For many years, the people of Grace sang “Let There Be Peace on Earth” every Sunday. That song helped shape us into a church that truly works for peace. We follow Jesus’ example of reaching out to people who are different from us—just as he crossed the lake to meet and serve others, we believe we’re called to do the same.
Most importantly, in our church family we treat each other with kindness, patience, and respect. We practice peace not only in the world, but also in how we care for one another.
Por muchos años, la gente de Grace cantó “Que haya paz en la tierra” cada domingo. Esa canción nos ayudó a formarnos como una iglesia que realmente trabaja por la paz. Seguimos el ejemplo de Jesús al acercarnos a personas diferentes a nosotros—así como Él cruzaba el lago para encontrarse y servir a otros, creemos que nosotros también estamos llamados a hacer lo mismo.

This is a community endeavor that happens every summer in July. Grace and its members were instrumental in starting and sustaining this great work. It is a free, four day camp for kids in grades 1 through 8 held in Nampa. The curriculum teaches peace-making skills and highlights various cultural activities from the diverse cultures here in the community. This is a great camp serving over 100 children each year. It requires lots of volunteers.
Este es un esfuerzo comunitario que ocurre cada verano en julio. Grace y sus miembros fueron fundamentales para comenzar y mantener este gran trabajo. Es un campamento gratuito de cuatro días para niños en los grados 1 a 8 que se lleva a cabo en Nampa. Stand with Iraqi Christians
This is a new partnership for Grace Church. It is an outreach of the Episcopal Church of Pennsylvania who is in contact with the Anglican Church in Iraq. Funds assist in digging wells and providing start up for small agricultural businesses.
A village in Kenya
Grace Church and friends of Grace are in relationship with the people of a small village that is home to a young woman, Rebekah Katue. Two years ago she asked us to raise the money to drill a well there. We worked with St. Stephen’s church in Boise and the well is now producing free water for village use and irrigation. We have also sent funds for children’s school uniforms. Donors are also needed for scholarship funds for young people attending college. If you are interested in this ministry, contact Karen+.
Grace Church y amigos de Grace están en relación con la gente de un pequeño pueblo que es el hogar de una joven, Rebekah Katue.
