Diaper Bank/Clothing Exchange
We are a distribution point for the Idaho Diaper Bank. We give out diapers each month to families who need a little extra help. We also provide clothing and other items for children free of charge. These items are donated by the community and those who use the exchange. Volunteers transport diapers, repackage them, stock shelves and keep the clothing exchange in order. In addition we often provide a listening ear and respond to additional needs of those who come. Financial support for this ministry goes to the Idaho Diaper Bank as each distribution point is expected to make donations.

Somos un punto de distribución para el Idaho Diaper Bank. Entregamos pañales cada mes a las familias que necesitan un poco de ayuda adicional. También proporcionamos ropa y otros artículos para niños de forma gratuita. Estos artículos son donados por la comunidad y aquellos que usan el intercambio. Los voluntarios transportan pañales, los vuelven a empaquetar, almacenan estantes y mantienen el cambio de ropa en orden. Además, a menudo brindamos un oído atento y respondemos a las necesidades adicionales de los que vienen. El apoyo financiero para este ministerio va al Idaho Diaper Bank ya que se espera que cada punto de distribución haga donaciones.

Area Help
Adventure Club
Adventure Club is a summer program for youth and those young at heart to hike and explore together. We have done this for several years and have some favorite spots, but are always looking for new places to go. We leave early in the morning from Grace, take a lunch and usually return by 2 or 3 p.m. Drivers and adult chaperones are needed. All interested children are invited.

Adventure Club es un programa de verano para jóvenes y aquellos jóvenes de corazón para caminar y explorar juntos. Hemos hecho esto durante varios años y tenemos algunos lugares favoritos, pero siempre estamos buscando nuevos lugares a donde ir. Partimos temprano en la mañana desde Grace, tomamos un almuerzo y generalmente regresamos a las 2 o 3 p.m. Se necesitan conductores y acompañantes adultos. Todos los niños interesados están invitados.

Ministry in the Community is, for us, the second pillar of life at Grace Church. Jesus set the example that we endeavor to follow. We take seriously our responsibility to know the people around us and to respond to those needs we can and are called to meet. We are gifted with faith and hope and resources and are called to put all those to the service of those around us. Our outreach ministries strive to be “a free gift, no strings attached”. Even in these pandemic times, there much ministry to do.
El ministerio en la comunidad es, para nosotros, el segundo pilar de la vida en Grace Church. Jesús dio el ejemplo que nos esforzamos por seguir. Nos tomamos muy en serio nuestra responsabilidad de conocer a las personas que nos rodean y responder a esas necesidades que podemos y estamos llamados a satisfacer. Estamos dotados de fe, esperanza y recursos y estamos llamados a poner a todos al servicio de quienes nos rodean. Nuestros ministerios de divulgación se esfuerzan por ser "un regalo gratuito, sin condiciones". Incluso en estos tiempos de pandemia, hay mucho ministerio por hacer.
