Children’s Opportunities for Service with Grace
At Grace Church, we welcome children of all ages to participate in ministries that help them grow in faith, compassion, and service. With new leadership staff, we are also looking for new volunteers including children. Below are some of the ways children can volunteer and share their gifts at Grace:
🌟 Acolytes & Torchbearers (Ages 8+)
Children can serve during worship by carrying the cross, lighting candles, or assisting the priest at the altar. Training is provided, and new acolytes are always welcome!
📚 Confident Readers
Young people who enjoy reading aloud can share Scripture during family services or special celebrations. This is a wonderful way for children to participate in worship leadership.
🎶 Children’s Music Ministry (All Ages)
Kids who love to sing or play an instrument are invited to offer music during services—especially on feast days, baptisms, and holidays. No formal training required; just enthusiasm!
🤝 Greeters & Hospitality Helpers
Children can help welcome newcomers, hand out bulletins, collect food donations, or assist at parish meals. Their bright smiles help make Grace feel like home.

🌿 “Junior Creation Care Team”
